Robins & Sons Chocolate - About us

Many thanks for checking out our website and products, we really appreciate your visit - so much so that I thought I should take a moment to introduce the team properly.

In a nutshell, we’re a fledgling family business that was set up in January 2015, after a fantastic response to my homemade ‘Peppermint Bark’ (aka ‘Mint Chocolate Crackle TM). At present, we are an ONLINE business only, no bricks and mortar 'shop' for the public to visit as yet, but hopefully that will change in the near future.

We believe in quality and achieving the highest possible standards, from ensuring there's a generous sprinkling of toppings on each bar to enable a delicios flavour burst with every bite, to providing the best customer service possible, including fast efficient delivery, query handling and letting each and every customer know that they are valued.

The ‘team’ consists of:

Me (Andrea) - I design, make and pack the products, dabble in product photography and person behind the social network tweets, posts and this blog.

Hubby (Andrew) - Designer behind Robins & Sons logo and all company artwork. Also responsible for many of the lovely photographs posted online, and a bit of a dark chocolate connoisseur, so is the ‘Chief’ taster for our ‘Dark Collection’.

‘Sons’ in ‘Robins and Sons’ (David 13 and Thomas 10) - definitely the ‘brains’ behind the operation (or so they tell me), coming up with new product ideas and a constant source of encouragement, especially Tom my little chocaholic, who frequently tells me ‘I love your chocolate mum, so everyone else will too’!

In addition to the 4 of us, we have fantastic family and friends always willing to pitch in with whatever's needed, from DIY to help ‘kit out’ our premises, to taste testing lots of chocolate – although we never seem to have a shortage of people willing to put themselves out for that one :)!

And that’s pretty much it!

We love to hear from our customers, your input helps us know what we're doing right or wrong, and without it, we couldn't grow and improve the products and service we provide, so we always welcome any feedback or comments.

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Robins and Sons website.
